Rumor has it we have an individual on HCSO payroll receiving a taxpayer funded salary to be the personal trainer for command staff at the SOC gym. I wonder if they would answer that on Question Corner? Any word on that?

Here's a suggestion...don't put all your eggs in one basket. Why are you reaching out to the Tampa Bay Times anyhow? Did they do a story on the relaunch of LEO Affairs? Nope! It was Brian Burns with the Tampa Free Press at TampaFP.com. Brian was an editor I believe at the Tampa Tribune and then the Tampa Bay Times before he broke off and started the Tampa Free Press. His content also gets picked up by MSN, so it's No Joke! Reach out to Brian with the info first, the others will follow suit:

Personal trainer? How about an entire boxing ring (gone now). You heard right. This stuff has been going on since before the Docobo era. Docobo had himself a boxing ring built in the training center just for him and hired the boxing personal trainer to train him. Paid for by tax payer money under the guise of, “So the deputies can use these services to get in shape”. Do you know anyone that uses those services? Put on a boxing class here and there and justify your existence here as a paid employee? Pretty sweet job.

Doctor A, who is a occupational psychologist is being used as a basic LMHC to justify her position here is making $140.00 a deputy in inservice training as they force her book and online training course down their throats. A course with information you can google for free. Another source telling cops that it’s up to them to stay mentally well while directing any responsibility away from the employer.

How about the “clinician” that works at the HCSO that is part owner of the Green Bay Packers? I wonder what his workload looks like on a daily basis?

There are a lot of people working at the HCSO doing a whole lot of nothing collecting some big pay and benifits. Friends of the elites.

Meanwhile your actual tangible positions where the real job is, the deputies and essential detectives in CID, Property, IPU, and so on… are being run into the ground.

This agency is one big scam and has burned through its front line resources like the wasteful cheaters they are. Something has to give.

Thank you for clarifying. I’ll give them that one. I guess I’m just sensitive to all the DeBartolo BS that goes on in this agency. When you see something like that, it’s hard to not think it’s somehow connected.

Kind of like when they hired captains and majors directly from the street years ago. They were eventually promoted to colonel then retired after about ten years. There is no way they didn’t receive some sort of kickback for that. Don’t colonels and above get free medical insurance for life or something?
