I waited to write this and, quite frankly, I'm fairly busy these days. However, given what's happened since we relaunched LEOAFFAIRS and the attack from our Russian friend, it's incumbent I inform our users about him and what he's up to, lest you join the long list of legitimate law enforcement victims in his wake.

He was only a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (FL) deputy for 3 years before resigning after eleven (11) IA investigations. He then went on to the Windham Police Department (MI) where he was fired after six (6) months for sexually harassing a female officer. Dougan returned to Florida where he started an anti-PBSO website and leaked confidential data about thousands of Police Officers, Federal Agents, and Judges. His home was raided by the FBI and computer equipment seized, he was indicted on 21 charges, he fled to Russia in 2016 seeking asylum and became a Russian citizen in 2023.
After we relaunched LEOAFFAIRS in 2026, Dougan created a rival message board where he trashed our site and promised protection on his (he wants you to register on his too). He posted exaggerations, misleading facts, and flat out lies in an attempt to get our users to abandon LEOAFFAIRS and go to him. He also stole our content by mirroring our message boards on his site, making our boards, users, and posts appear as his own. When he threatened to hack our server if we did not allow him to access our site and users, I took the threat seriously given Dougan's reputation for running disinformation campaigns for President Putin and having access to a team of hackers (he's even been sanctioned by the EU).
At this point I'm happy to report I've had a team of very talented people examine our setup and they've give us the thumbs up. Our server is secure, it is hosted in Sweden where they have some of the most stringent privacy laws, our server company (NJALLA) takes privacy to a new level, and our message board software does not store IP addresses. We've even gone to the extreme of not using U.S. based software like Cloudflare because they could be compelled by subpoena to produce IP addresses (ironically, Dougan advertises that he uses Cloudflare). I cannot divulge all of the security protocols in place for LEOAFFAIRS because I do not want to tip our hand, but I'm very happy with them.
It's all about who you trust and that's why I attached my name to LEOAFFARS. It's indisputable that Dougan is a Russian misinformation operative for Putin with a history of screwing over cops and a fugitive from the FBI. If his lips are moving, he's lying! In contrast, my life is very public, I have a documented history, and I have a reputation to uphold (that's why I won't do this without moderation).
