You, we, need to get the word out. Last time, the HCSO’s threats to not post here and the lawsuit 20 years ago made this site explode with posts.

Ah, those were the days. This site was started by Jim & Chip back in 2002 and the HCSO lawsuits came in 2005. Sheriff Gee got some very bad advice from Chief Deputy Jose Docobo (who led the charge) and the site exploded over the resulting national attention.
Of course, She Devil's post about the HCSO screwing up the Aisenberg missing baby investigation (Sabrina Aisenberg) and having to pay dearly for it (Attorney Barry Cohen made sure that prediction came true) spurred the start of the lawsuits (Docobo wanted to identify the posting deputy and discipline/fire him while telling the courts they simply wanted to identify and interview a witness who seemed to have information on the case). Yeh, right! How'd that work out for you Jose and the HCSO?

Yup, HCSO lost that one. Jose Docobo’s method of keeping manpower low, unless you were slated to be fast tracked, was to fire everyone for everything. The new method is to make patrol so miserable, deputies quit. Have you all ever seen this many quit in the past few years? Notice most quit before max pay and before being vested? Maybe that’s the plan all along. Keep them young, cheap, and leave before they get expensive, vested, and smart. It’s not even a revolving door anymore. It’s an exit door. When they leave, they leave full of anger too. It’s not a good time at the HCSO, but…. “You are going to like it here”.
