Too bad all the posts from the old LEOaffairs forum are gone. You could read more than twenty years worth of the HCSO’s BS and know exactly what you were dealing with. It was our own form of trying to maintain some sort of institutional memory. Being that there has always been, either no communication from the command or lies, it was a good way for us to spread and save info. Not to mention, with the high turnover, and command staff constantly rotating, nobody remembers anything. Which is why they constantly try to reinvent the wheel. The HCSO calls the info on this site rumors. However, rumors and word on the street seem to be far more accurate then their scripted scrubbed garbage. Refer to Q corner answers and your roll call fake pep talks. Only to be released to critically short handed units and the same decade old issues they refuse to fix.
The information on these posting may be obvious to many of us, but many new deputies and the public don’t know these things. Keep this information memorialized, no matter how obvious and basic. As the site gains its popularity again, word will spread. Hopefully the TBT, or whoever, bites on some of these topics.
