So what happened at HSD? Cheating? Screwing? Fudging of those time cards again?

Why does this happen in all those jeans and tac vest wearing squads?

No media attention unless there is a third party whistle blower?

Why do they have to indirectly fuck over established street squads and screw with patrol supervisors that are actually working and did nothing wrong?

How are they going to punish patrol and patrol supervisors for what HSD did?

It’s not my place to say whether those should have been demoted, fired, or charged. However, it is my place to say leave fucking patrol alone.

Better yet, just promote them all to Colonel and above. They will fit right in. This way you don’t have to play musical chairs with patrol supervisors.

I wonder how they are going to take this out on the cops that are actually doing the real job? Daily roll calls? Staff inspections every day? What else you got? It’s not miserable enough out here!

Unfortunately this has become the norm at HCSO - whether it’s numerous command staff being fired or an entire division’s chain of command being removed for low performance, policy violations, academic cheating, relational cheating, committing crimes, the list goes on, etc. You would think these would be rare events, but it’s just another week at HCSO.

Be careful asking what else they have for us. They will cherrypick another Police One article to shove down our throats. These are high-quality peer-reviewed and battle-tested sources that a major law enforcement agency would base its operational decisions on right?

It’s time for command staff to stop pushing all this propaganda on the deputies and first-line supervisors when it’s a high percentage above those ranks who are the real problem. Ask any supervisor about their inservice this year - the PAO teaches them communication strategies to control the narrative and deliver bad news to the deputies to salvage whatever morale is left. More propaganda from command staff that says deputies and first-line supervisors are the problem instead of fixing the root cause - their own corruption and poor leadership.

This HSD story is just another in a long list of examples of how the two-class culture instilled by our command staff has failed us. This “I’m better than you and I can do whatever I want” attitude, which they make no attempt to hide anymore, has eroded trust and accountability to the extent that everyone is unhappy and embarrassed to work here.
